Notes: * Entitlement to Increments of pay based on total commissioned service applicable to those Flying Officer or Flight Lieutenants commissioned on or before 15 May 1975 (see QR 2659(4)). The above rates of pay are not to be applied incrementally. They are shown to provide a point of entry, determined by "years in rank" or "years commissioned Service" for those with previously paid regular commissioned service in the Armed Forces has the beyond entry point; unless the individuals has completed a period of full time service or called out service on the promotion the "appointment rates for the higher rank applies". There is no increment progression beyond the appropriate entry point; on promotion, the appointment" rate for the higher rank applies.
