Notes: * Entitlement to Increments of pay based on total full-time commissioned service applicable only to those Flying Officers and Flight Lieutenants commissioned on or before 15 May 1975 (see QR 2659(4)). 1. The above rates of pay are not to be applied incrementally. They are shown to provide a point of entry, determined by "years in rank" or "years commissioned Service" for those with previous paid regular commissioned service in the Armed Forces,unless the individual has completed a period of full time reserve service or called out service. 2. There is no incremental progression beyond the appropriate entry point; on promotion (the 'on appointment' rate for the higher rank applies).
