Service personnel can find it difficult to obtain affordable and guaranteed life insurance that provides enduring cover for war and terrorism risks. Service Life Insurance (SLI) now guarantees life cover to all Service personnel, through a unique partnering agreement between Ministry of Defence and Sterling Life. The scheme is voluntary and designed to complement and reinforce what is already provided.
