There are many individual financial institutions or organisations that will give advice depending on the type, in this section we will try to give guidance as to where further information or advice can be obtained. The FSA is the UK's government-appointed financial watchdog. This website provides completely impartial facts, data and products for individuals to consider when making any financial commitments. Members of SIIAP operate to a strict code of practice and all are specialists in their own area of expertise. The SIIAP website provides links to all member websites. Website: www.siiap.org White Ensign Association (WEA) The White Ensign Association is a registered charity founded jointly by the Royal Navy and the City of London in 1958. to provide a financial advisory service for all serving and retired personnel of the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the former Queen Alexandra's Naval Nursing service, the former Women's Royal Naval Service and their respective Reserves. Over the years the role has developed and expanded to include the provision of assistance in resettlement and employment in civilian life. Members are kept informed on pension issues, and are also provided with advice and assistance with Service Retired Pay and Service Pension problems.
