Service Families Recreation Facilities
Introduction
This website aims to let you know about opportunities for Service personnel and their families to use non-publicly funded recreational facilities such as activity centres, holiday homes and pleasure boats. We also include details of a selection of sporting activities provided by Sports Associations that are available to Service dependants.
Many of the facilities detailed have been included with the kind permission of outside agencies such as the RAF Association, Nuffield Trust and MacRoberts Trust. Several RAF units have also allowed us to include details of their holiday caravans and boats. Therefore, on a cautionary note, with many of these facilities already in high local demand, availability may be limited.
