Children in Scotland seeks to work with and through its members, to promote policies that improve the quality of life for Scotland's children and their families. To do this, the Policy & Research Section seeks to develop effective policies at local, national and international levels, to facilitate practice development, and to undertake research.

Working with Parliaments:
  • Regular updates of activity at the Scottish Parliament and the Scottish Executive related to children and young people.
  • Policy briefings for Holyrood and Westminster.
  • The Cross Party Group in the Scottish Parliament on Children and young people.
Consultations and Responses:
  • Details of all current consultation papers relevant to children and young people.
  • Archive of Children in Scotland's responses to consultation papers.
  • Details of forthcoming events relating to consultation papers.
